Director Role

The Director Role

As a Director, you have access to capabilities that other users do not. The Director is essentially the puppet master of the story.

Curating Phase

  • Create stories and scenes.
  • Upload static characters, backgrounds, and sound effects.
  • Create animatable characters from scratch, for both humanoids and animals.
  • Invite people to play as actors via email invitations.
  • Schedule showtimes and send invitations to public viewers.
  • Control the current phase of a story (draft, live, or ended).
  • View logs for show duration, invited actors, and scheduling details.

During the Show

  • Actors can only enter the stage when the Director is present. Without the Director, the stage is inactive for rehearsals and shows.
  • Navigate between different scenes.
  • Move all characters and save their current positions.
  • Adjust the background.
  • Record the screen while the show is live.
  • Toggle background sound on and off.
  • Control the volume for viewers to ensure the audio is balanced.
  • Fine-tune each actor's movements, including body bending, rotation, and pinning IK (Inverse Kinematics) arms and limbs.
  • Control facial expressions (e.g., closed eyes, happy faces, sad faces).
  • Start and end the show.
